Information Exchange Service (IEX)

What is IEx Service (Online Synchronizer of branches)?

Information Exchange Service (IExs) is an online based service that synchronizes transaction, data, documents or records across all branches of an organisation. It gives software applications the ability to work online and offline without the need to worry about facilities or extensive application modification.

Information Exchange Service (IExs) is simple to implement and works seamlessly with Biz Edge RetailPOS Software and can be integrated into other third party software. It is secure, easy to use and works without user intervention.

IExS allows you to divide your facilities into three categories:

  1. Head Office
  2. Branch
  3. Monitoring Stations

Head Office:

This is where all the branches are being managed. Business rules are created here and transmitted to the branches. All branches report to the head office. Reports of any branch can be view from the head office as if you are at the branch. You can also view totals, summaries and combines records of all the branches. Transactions should not be posted at the head office.

Branch:

This is where transactions are posted; it receives business rules from the head office and reports back to the head office. A branch does not need the head office to be online to work.

Monitoring Station:

Locations under this category create neither business rules nor post transactions. A monitoring station is a report only branch. They are usually mobile. It gives stakeholders an end-to-end view of their business and allows them to monitor it from anywhere.

Information Exchange Service (IExs) comes with many features, such as:

  • Exchanging of records from branches to Head Office vice versa
  • Managing of records online by an administrator
  • Managing of branch’s information from Head Office
  • It gives stakeholders an end-to-end view of their business in seconds.
  • IExs work effectively without human interference.
  • It allows you to monitor your business from anywhere in the world with the Monitor license.
